Here We Go!

So I guess this is it. I'm hitting the blogging world. I'm so excited for this. I'm excited for a blog where I can be myself and try new things and do things that force me out of my box. Wind & Sails is going to be dedicated to the simple and wonderful moments of life. There will be style, recipe, make-up, and DIY posts. I can't wait. I'm so excited!!
I love reading blogs where I see these ladies (and sometimes men) post style ideas, recipes, and DIYs that are just so great for the "average" human out there. I have a few blogs that I check every. single. day. I'm hoping that W&S is going to be like that for you! I really hope that you're excited to see what's new everyday (just to be clear...there is no guarantee that I will post everyday. In fact, I can probably guarantee that I will NOT post everyday. Hehehe).
This is very new experience for me and so I hope that you will all be extremely patient with me. My photography skills are somewhat lacking and before this blog gets very far I must tell you all....I'm the worst at spelling/grammar.  Seriously. I love to write but the grammar is terrible and the spelling is just pitiful. The best thing to ever happen to me was spell checker. I'm not joking.
Enough about my bad qualities. I want you to know that I am going to try my hardest to make this a place where you can unwind. A place to be yourself. A place to maybe learn something new. I encourage you to comment a lot. I know I'm going to love reading all your thoughts and ideas. W&S is going to be one big get together every day.
